Another Good Week

The close of the school week has finally come! It was a good time but I must say I am glad for the weekend. This week I made a few things. First I made this beautiful vest and then I got back my first pinch pot from sculpture and clay oh and last week I made Valentines day cupcakes. Man I love to do homely things.

Tonight we had a rugby social with our team and it was a ton of fun. We got to taking pictures and it was very entertaining. I'll post all of them on facebook if you want to see more.
Well here's to waking up at 6:00 on a Saturday to get to a rugby game!

PS- I can't get a good picture of my black hair but trust me, it's black.

Something New

I have black hair. I know what you are thinking and it's not my thick leg hair but rather the shadow box that came in WAY dark. It is black. I am slowly getting use to it. Don't worry, I don't plan on having any lifestyle changes in the future.
XOXO

A Few Thoughts

-I think I sprained my thumb
-Four girls from the Kent, WA rugby team stayed at my house last night and it was a lot of fun
-Turf makes my knees bleed
-I really like having people to socialize with
-I like it when you get a lot done but laying around is nice too
-Natalie is gone and it makes me sad
-I like it when I listen to music artists before they get big. They started playing Ingrid on the radio and I can say I liked her before she was on the radio
-Boots are my favorite
-I LOVE fashion (Well G would tell me I like fashion but I really LOVE him...)
-Being able to drive is one of the best things that has ever happened to me
-This will be my first summer that I actually have to find a real job
-When I was little my only job was to empty the silverware. I would pretend the knife and spoon were married and the fork tried to break them up, so when the fork fell on the spoon I would hit the fork with a knife. I still have to remind myself that it's not really like that.
-I have finally got to the point where I would rather spend my money than save it.
-I am coming to Utah for spring break
-I had a dream Kendall and I got iphones...just a dream
-I need new rugby cleats real bad
-I want a pet squirrel more than anything (well maybe not anything...)
-My graduation seems SO far away! Only three more symesters
-Harry Potter is real
-I crave warm beaches all the time! Any one want to go to some warm tropical island with me?
-I am taking a nap today.

The New Symester

Dear readers,
The new symester started and I am having a great time. I now have sculpture in clay so I put all of my emotion into my pinch pots. It is my first high school art experience and I must say it takes me back to the days in Arizona where I took ceramics in summer school. I also started my economics class and that is a good one too. My favorite teacher teaches it so I know I will learn a lot. Today I learned I should start saving for retirement now because the baby boomers will steal social security from all of us. Well in order to save I need to get a job...any ideas?
The rain continues to fall in Oregon and it makes me very sleepy. I must say the one bad thing that I picked up from my Arizona days is the idea that when it's raining outside you come inside. In Oregon things keep on going. Rugby is very wet these days which makes playing on the turf that much nicer since there is no mud. Mom and Dad are back from Las Vegas and I had a very enjoyable time with Nat while they were gone. I'm having a great time just living.

Rugby is Where it's At!!!

Well we had our first game on friday night and it was the best game ever! I finally figured out what real rugby is like. I gave everything I had, 110% and when it was over I was on the highest high in the world! We played Canby (number two in the state, we're number one) and it was suppose to be a friendly preseason match but of course it wasn't. Anyway two of our veteran girls weren't allowed to play so that put me and my good friend Megan Hackney (haha) as the vets in the foward pack. Luckily I was able to step it up and I was a beast! I initiated contact, I communicated, and I even had a few runs with the ball. Nothing can compare to the feeling I had last night and I cannot wait to have it again next weekend when we play Kent, Washington.

PS- My bruise collection is getting quite nice. The picture on the left is Megan and me before the game and the one on the right is us after the game.
