News

Yes friends the rumors are true. Natalie did indeed come to P-town last weekend and we did indeed have a great time. How quickly it went by because it kind of seems like Nat was only here for one night. But never fear I have in my possesion the one and only picture with Nat from the trip. It was a good thing that I finally got my camera to work again.
In this picture you will notice that I am wearing multiple shirts all of which were given to me by Nat on that very night or on some previous occasion. Can you guess how many shirts I am wearing?

Oh on the plus of being an only child, Mom decided to go to Utah without me and it turns out Dad is going out of town too. This will mark the first time they have left me at home alone and I have my liscence. I love having responsibility!

Dear Dan/Harry Potter,

I love you but you have been caught peeking.
I miss Harry Potter and my new obsession with it is to look up Harry on google and look at the pictures.

Today Was My Lucky Day

I was dark outside and it was extremely hard to get out of bed this morning. I had by some miracle managed to get most of the way ready and all that was left was to put on my shoes. I thought a new pair of socks sounded nice so I opened up the pack and there were THREE socks in the pack! Three can you believe it! I got an extra sock---that never happens!

Thoughts For the Day

Today I decided that most of our lives are spent waiting. I mean think about it with me for a moment. Here I am waiting for Mom to get back so we can start a movie, on saturday I waited for my food to be done, this morning I was waiting to see how little my group did on our group project, after school today I was waiting to see if the kids I was suppose to babysit would show up, and I am currently waiting for my ACT scores. Sometimes I think about the soundtrack to my life and I am certain that the Jeopardy theme song would take up atleast half of the CD. So here is my deep question for the day--- Does the waiting ever stop? Is waiting part of what makes us human?

Second let me remind you of two things.

1. There was this one time when Kendall, Nat, and I found the Oscar Mayer weener truck.
2.New York in 58 days
I love you all!

The ACT

The morning started bright and early. Since I decided I didn't need to look good for anyone I didn't shower and it was great! I came down ate my breakfast of frosted mini-wheats and map quested where the test was. Then I was off like wind. I got in the car and funny enough I followed Bryan Ferguson most of the way to the test center. I go there with only a little bit of stress and then I was ready to go. I met up with Bryan S. and it turned out we were in the same classroom. I was suprised how many people were there that I knew, it was really weird. Finally we got to our classroom, of course I was the last number, and the test got started. Long story short I think that I did alright. THere were parts that I felt really good on and then other parts where I had no idea. For a long time Kendall and Rachel have been telling me that science was the hardest part but I thought it was realatively it just had a lot of info to take in in 35 minutes.

After the test I went to Burger King and decided to eat inside. I ended up waiting forever because somehow they had skipped my number. When I finally got it it was delicious. I was so brain dead after the test that it really didn't matter that I waited forever for my food.

TGIFriday

No words can describe it better. I am very tired and very donw with school for the week. It seem weird that I have only been at it for 9 school days because I feel like I have been there forever. Tomorrow I am taking the ACT. AHHHHH!

The Best Feeling in the World

I often complain about having to go running but today I had an epiphany. When you first start running it sucks. I'm not even going to try and sugar coat it because the reality is it is awful. Your joints are stiff, your don't really know where to put your arms, you have to figure out that perfect breathing pattern and stuff. Well after about the fourth or fifth lap around the track you hit a peak or a point where you are totally warmed up. When you reach this point you feel like you can do anything because you are in the zone, over the hill, and ready to go. I can totally see how long distance people run forever it is a great feeling.

Music=Poetry

The more that I listen to music the more this seems to come true. For instance this part of the song So Much Love by The Rocket Summer
"Hats need a beat, like awake needs asleep
Like a pen needs a page, to learn right you need a mistake

Oh, yeah

Hearts need a mind, like a clock needs the time
Like white needs black, if you leave I hope you need to come back

Oh, i swear, i know, i believe it
Oh, i can't stop hearing all the singing
Oh, my soul has never had this feeling
and it feels like gold

You got so much love in you
You got so much love in you
I'm amazed that I'm talkin' to you
You look like the songs that I've heard my whole life coming true"

Isn't that the cutest thing ever. I love lyrics that make you smile everytime you listen to them. Then next best thing to that are lyrics that you have to sing along to. You know those songs where just listening doesn't do the trick. Well I want to know what your favorite lyrics are at this moment.

Life, Liberty, and Camping on Labor Day Weekend

What can you say about camping. It is a time filled with no showers and lots of junk food. On friday we drove to the beach, stopped at Moe's on the way (Megan doesn't like chowder), and finally arrived at our campsite in the Tillicum camp ground. We were on a bluff thing that looked out onto the beach. It was beautiful as always.
I discoverd on this trip that it is much easier to get into the dirty thing than you think. It was so nice to not have to worry about showering, washing my face you know stuff like that. Kino discovered what the air mattress was really like and he was on it most of the time. So was Mom but she was reading the Twilight series so she has a good reason. It was a good time had by all. My favorite parts include but are not limited to; Bike rides with Dad, salty meats, roasting Starburst (I had forgotten how delicious starburst are and I find myself craving them a lot), laying in the sun on the beach, reading Harry Potter, and really have nothing that needed to get done. Well summer is now a thing of the past, stay tuned for my back to school blog!
