Songs of the Moment

In my life right now there are two songs that I am constantly sing/humming/thinking about.
The first song is called Love Song by Sara Bareilles. It is so good and happy that you HAVE to sing along. I love songs that are upbeat. Sometimes I do like to listen to the I hate my dad music (as Natalie calls it) but nothing can compare to a song that puts you in a good mood.
The second song is Die Alone by Ingrid Michaelson. Yet another song that has a great message and is so cute. The chorus is my favorite part.
Maybe it is just my foolish notions of what it means to be in love and the idea that something so sweet could actually happen but to me these things are real life. To the song writers that create these songs, please keep creating them because I will always listen and always fall in love with any song about love and the fantastic events that go along with it. Here's to me one day finding out what love is really like! For now I am content with the songs.

A New Season

You may be thinking a new season like winter or spring but no, this new season is that glorious season we call the rugby. This will be my third season and I am so pumped. This is me freshmen year A lot has changed since then but since many of you don't know the particulars of how I got started in this whole rugby business I will tell you now. It all started in eight grade when my good friend Megan (pictured at the left) and I decided to play rugby in high school just because. We didn't have any idea what it was but we thought we could give it a shot. We did and when freshman year rolled around we signed up for the team and started off on that crazy journey that would turn us both in to life long rugby lovers. The season was great. I learned more about my body and my limits in that one season than I had learned in my whole life and my feelings of accomplishment were some of the best in the world. Soon the season was over and I would have to a whole eight months before the next season. It finally came, my sophomore rugby season. It was even better than the last year. I knew better what I was doing, I knew all of the returning girls on the team, and best of all it would be our year to make it to the National Invitational Tournament for rugby. Long story short we made it to nationals and it was one of the best experiences of my life! I am so greatful that I got to go and I feel so blessed that I was able to go to Milwaukee with my parents and my rugby team. We won the plate division just in case you forgot.
I guess in closing I just want to say that you don't know your limits until you are truly pushed past them. I am not blessed with any athletic genes so it's all on me and I just keep going out and doing it because it is a challenge! You have never played a team sport until you've played rugby and relied on someone else to save you when big scary girls come to tackle you. Rugby is the closest thing I have ever had to a family outside our family. Just in case you ever wondered I am absolutely terrified of rugby. I know what I just said makes it seem all warm and fun but the truth is evertime a game is finished I ask myself, "What just happend?". It is the scariest thing in the world but there are many payoffs for it and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Come up and watch me play this season I am sure you won't regret it. As for my junior season of rugby I am hoping it is the best yet!

On My Mind

Today I had a really great thought that changed my perspective on the way the week works. The last few weekends I have had such good/relaxing moments that today I decided no longer will they be called weekends but really we wait all through the week and it really just begins [the week that is] when we get off of school/work on Friday. School, work, or whatever is not so bad after all if you just put everything you have into it. Enjoy the great two days of rest you get and they will for sure be the best part of your week.

Once Again I Beat the System

I'm at school and I am on my blog. The bad news is I can only post things not look at them but hey, I'm not complaining. Today is friday already and I am so pumped. I'm not going to lie but this morning I was so tired (now that I think of it I still kind of am but...)I mean I could not process anything! Well it didn't matter anyway because it is the end of the week. Now I am in anatomy. We weren't allowed in our classroom because apparently some kid in our class jumped of a wall and broke his ankle, well we don't know that for sure but I guess he was in a lot of pain and the firemen came. Now I am at the computers wasting my time. Hope you are all having a great almost end of the week. I get to go shopping today!

Mallory Update

Today was a good day and I will share with you why...

*I got to sleep in one whole hour because I had a dentist appointment and couldn't go to seminary
*No cavities!
*I found out Atonement is a book and now I can read it!
*Apparently the alto section in choir had a vote and I won as the cutest for the day.(it was a good self-esteem booster)
*I drove someone for the first time in my car now that my six months are up.
*We got to watch medical mysteries in Anatomy.
*It hardly rained at all today!
*Katelyn and I got our egg-drop to work only after one egg exploded (literally exploded!) on the wall. It was the only egg we broke all afternoon.
*Gossip Girl is new tonight.
*I currently have in my possesion the last two discs for season one of How I Met Your Mother. So exciting!
Here is a little laugh for all of you Williams girls. I hope you had a good day too!

Avoiding the Inevitable

i just can't make myself sit down and write a Christmas blog. It was such a good time that I don't think I can put it in to writing. Don't worry friends, it is coming soon.

Does anyone know how to resize photos on picasa? Some help on that world be a great encouragement for me to put lots of pictures up.

Love you all!
